A year ago we deceided to realize a dream.

We wanted to travel the USA;
with a big van,
with the ones we love,
with the best friends ever.

Today the final countdown is on, this dream is about to come true.

“Please be a traveler, not a tourist.
Try new things, meet new people,
and look beyond what´s right in front of you.
Those are the keys to understanding
this amazing world we live in.”

What iPhone apps do I use to create my images?

Often I get asked what kind of apps I use for my iPhone photography…

How I create different styles or special light effects…

…or the labels & textography…

….or a vintage & matte effect?

Well, this is plain easy… I mostly use these iPhone apps:

The main editing like sharpening, exposure or temperature I do with Snapseed.
PicFx & Afterlight I use for special filter, textures & light effects.
With Over I create the most fancy textography & with labelbox I add some nice labels.
With the Blender app I can either blend two photos, combine different styles & effects or just add textures.

There is no wrong or right how to use a app. Just give it a try & be creative.
And if I had to choose just one app which works best “all-in-one”,
I would definitely choose the VSO CAM:

Hello, Sunshine!

As I woke up today on Easter Monday, the sun was shining &
finally the snowy grey was gone. I thought by myself
“Where has the lovely sun been & how long will she stay?“
As I made breakfast & opened the fridge, I realized that the sunshine was there too.
Shining with it´s happy yellow-orange light in this bottle full of orange juice.
And then I just smiled & knew that the world around us is full of sunshine,
we just need to know where to find it. Even when it is in the fridge.

Pinterest-ing Photography Boards

What are you doing when you need to rest & recover from a bronchitis?

Well, I love to lay in bed or on my couch, cuddled up with a blanket, some hot tea & my iPhone or laptop.
And that´s when I find time to get inspired for my all-day life but also a lot for my photography work.
I find a lot of inspiration on Instagram or Pinterest.
I could spend hours just browsing through the photo streams of other creative minds or boards on Pinterest.

Lately I got a few nice comments about my Pinterest boards & the things I pin.
Thanks so much for that!

So today I want to share my Pinterest related photography boards which may inspire you as well.
But be aware of getting lost with all those amazing pictures. What can I say…
I am a very organized person & even love to organize & arrange my boards in alphabetical order.
So it´s not only for me but also you easy to find what you´re looking for.

Autumn Beauty Jessica

Do you know the feeling when you meet someone for the first time & think by yourself:
“Wow, what a beauty?” Well, this happend to me when I first met Jessica a long time ago.
That she´s is a beautiful woman is obvious, not only from the outside but also from the inside.
Her mezmerizing eyes & her shy smile remained for quite a while before we finally came together for this photoshoot.

So on that day, two beauties met. Autum & Jessica. And these pictures were born.
So take a deep breath & get carried away by her piercing gaze & a short leap back into autum 2012.
